Kaboom’s Summer Challenge

, ,

Get outside. Win great prizes. This summer, the national nonprofit KaBOOM! challenges you and your family to visit as many playgrounds as you can.

A swing doesn’t swing on its own. A slide doesn’t slide. Playgrounds are the heart of a community – and they come alive when you and your family are there.

For each playground you visit, you earn points and badges toward one of three Grand Prizes–a week-long trip for two to Washington, DC. The three Grand Prize winners will not only get to see the sights in DC, but also visit the KaBOOM! headquarters and share their Summer Challenge experiences at its annual Play Academy!

Every other week, you’ll get a “mini challenge” for a chance to earn prizes as you go. You will track and share your adventures using the new Tag! mobile app, to be released in June. Each playground you visit will be recorded on the KaBOOM! Map of Play, which KaBOOM! uses to work toward its vision of a playground within walking distance of every child.

The more you play, the more you help KaBOOM! save play! Are you up to the Challenge?
