If you are a member of Mom Bloggers for Social Good or have a general interest in global issues and you’re a blogger the Social Good Summit held in New York on September 22 – 24 is definitely one summit you should attend. I have attended each year and cannot recommend it enough.
Registration for the summit is now open! Held during UN Week when world leaders gather in New York for the UN General Assembly, the summit serves as the one place where anyone, anywhere can join the conversation on international development. From forward-thinking technologists, to social activists, corporate trailblazers and young entrepreneurs, every voice is represented.
This year, the summit will take place September 22-24 under the theme of “Digital. Global. Action”. Initial speakers include Nick Kristof, Pete Cashmore, Helen Clark, and Deepka Chopra, Forest Whitaker well as many other huge personalities that have yet to be announced officially. The website is now live at www.mashable.com/sgs.
This event is free for bloggers, and you can sign up here: mashable.com/sgs/#sgs_press.
Be sure to follow the summit on twitter @SocialGood and like them on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/socialgood
